How my thoughts they spin me 'round
And how my thoughts they let me down
And how my thoughts they spin me 'round
And how my thoughts they let me down
And how my dreams they spin me 'round
And how my dreams they let me down
And how my thoughts they spin me 'round
And how my thoughts they let me down
Then there's you
Then there's you
Then there's you
Then there's you
And how my love it spins me 'round
And how my love it's let me down
And how my thoughts they spin me 'round
And how my thoughts they let me down
Then there's you
Then there's you
Then there's you
Then there's you
You know I know that you know
I've written it on myself if you can't tell
With a melody that climbs and then falls, then falls, then falls
Without you, without you
How my days they spin me 'round
And how today it sets me down
And how my days they spin me 'round
And how today it sets me down
Alongside you
Alongside you
Alongside you
I am in love with this song by Greg Laswell. So who is this guy, exactly? Well, for my friends in Indonesia, I bet that many of you have already know him. Greg Laswell is a musician, recording engineer, and producer from USA. If you're a fan of TV Series Grey's Anatomy, then you spent most of your TV time listening to his song. Many of his songs are featured in that famous TV Series. But to be honest, I am not a fan of Grey's Anatomy since I never watch it even once. So, where did I found out about him? I am a huge fan of Ingrid Michaelson, which is his wifey, then after learn about that I started to browse about him and listen to his pieces. The result? Magnificent! I love this man. He and Ingrid is match made in heaven. His music is beautiful and so is the lyric.
So, lately I've been playing this song of his all the time, literally. This song called "And Then You" is a terrific song. The lyrics are beautiful and I find it so soothing and deep in its meaning. Though I don't have my significant other yet, I still say that this song is a perfect song for those of you who is in love with somebody and feels like you can rely all of your world upon him/her.
So, have you try listening to Greg Laswell's songs?
